If you have a heart for missions — and especially Youth with A Mission — come and join in our short-term volunteer program called Mission Builders.

Mission Builders (volunteers) have played a major role in making the U of N Kona campus what it is today. They serve the Kona campus in many ways, assisting with everything from carpentry and maintenance to food services, grounds keeping and administrative work. Many of these wonderful volunteers come year after year because they\’ve found it\’s a challenging and spiritually refreshing experience — and a great way to make new friends from around the world.
If you\’re between the ages of 18 and 80, in good health (able to work 40 hours per week), available to volunteer for 8 to 12 weeks and have a heart to serve then we invite you to come to Hawaii and be a Mission Builder!
The University of the Nations provides accommodation and meals for Mission Builders for their wonderful service. Serving at the University of the Nations you also get to enjoy wonderful nature, amazing loving community and the wonderful people of Hawaii. All Mission Builders must have a minimum level of English language ability in order to be able to join us. We ask that your English language skills are at least minimum professional proficiency as this is essential for you to be able to fully participate during your time serving here with us. We are very excited to tell you all about volunteering as Mission Builders, so enjoy reading on! For more information and to apply If you are a skiled trades person and can not commit to 8 to 12 weeks we would love to have you join our Kona Summer Surge ministry, which is 1 week to 12 weeks over the summer (July to September).  To read more click here
