Break the roots of poverty and bring gospel-inspired transformation to people and their land. Help them thrive by demonstrating locally sustainable ways to provide access to healthy food, renewable energy, clean water, safe shelter and basic sanitation.
Get equipped in natural farming, construction basics, aquaponics, water and sanitation technologies, permaculture design, renewable energy, and biblical-based community development principles. Get hands-on experience within YWAM Kona’s Natural Farm Training Center and Appropriate Technology Village.

Participate in the FEWS Field Assignment (SCI 232) a three month practical internship through our Life Empowering Technology and Science Department. You’ll get additional hands-on experience with sustainable technology through serving with our YWAM Partners in the developing world!

The Life Empowering Technologies and Science Department (LETS) is a team of individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences in community development and appropriate technology – agriculture, engineering, construction, medical and health care, and other applied sciences.
